Summer 2026 — Opera Across Italy
A summer of music, international collaboration, and unforgettable performances across Italy.
Villafranca di Verona — Gala Lirica at the Castello Scaligero, performing alongside leading Italian opera stars including Luca Salsi, Francesco Meli and Simone Piazzola, while serving as a jury member of the Alida Ferrarini International Vocal Competition.
Florence — Two special concerts, Amiche e l’Opera and Tra cielo e terra, celebrating the beauty of opera with international artists.
July — Florence — A special summer concert at the Teatro Nazionale, continuing a season dedicated to great voices and Italian opera.
Natasha Novitskaia , who has a powerful and lushly dramatic mezzo voice, sang the arias "Re dell'abisso, affrettati" and "Acerba voluttà" with great emotion, reminiscent of the dramatic mezzo singers of the past. Her powerful voice floated through both the Aida and La Gioconda duets.

AMNERIS IN AIDA. TAORMINA
Ms. Novitskaia lent her powerful voice to the creation of the character of Ulrica in "Re dell'abisso, affrettati" from Ballo in Maschera. The way she used the texture of her mezzo instrument created an aura of suspense. We loved the final "Silencio!". In the lower register she has a contralto quality.
She "plays well with others" as we saw in the numerous duets. She was a very commanding and devious Amneris in the duet "Fu la sorte dell'armi a' tuoi funesta" from Aida, tricking her rival Aida.
